Holy Spirit Come Upon Us

And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance (Acts 2:4).

Ten days after Jesus ascended to heaven Holy Spirit came to us. Everyone devoted to Christ knows Holy Spirit and how precious He is. He is crucial during the days of our earthy life. We remain in Christ through Holy Spirit and we accomplish the purpose of our being in the world. Without Him we are lost and have no way to live in communion with Jesus who now resides in heaven.

Holy Spirit gives us boldness to speak with authority God’s truth. A weak and fearful person transforms to a strong and vital vessel through Holy Spirt. Imagine the results in your life when you live every day, week to week, month to month, year to year in harmony with Holy Spirit. You will obey Him at every turn and move according to His impressions and cues. He will instruct you how to live and keep you about your Father’s business.

Do you appreciate Holy Spirit? He regenerated your spirit so He could take residence within you when you first believed. Do not forget Him and do not lock Him away within yourself. He wants to seep out of you so He can come on you. Jesus said, “The Sprit of the Lord is upon me for He has anointed me to preach the good news to the poor.” You will have no power or walk in any kind of spiritual authority until Holy Spirit comes upon you. Your hands become instruments of healing and your mouth a voice of clarity when the Spirit is on you. Holy Spirit wants to break through you to give people the miracle they need.

How do you begin to honor God’s precious gift of Holy Spirit? Simply by recognizing He is within you. Ask the Lord Jesus to baptize you with Holy Spirit and fire. Ask Him to anoint you and you will receive. Do not doubt but trust. Listen for His still small voice within you and respond to Him. Greet Holy Spirit every morning and thank Him for never leaving or forsaking you. Open yourself up for a new way to think and position yourself for an outbreak of His anointing in your life.
