Change the Way You See
And God saw that the light was good. And God separated the light from the darkness.
Genesis 1:4 (ESV)
When "stuff happens," can you reframe your thoughts to see anything good? In every dark cloud, there is a silver lining. If we believe God is good, then no matter what, He remains good. He loves us and has a purpose for everything that happens to us. Amid heartache, Jesus desires to restore. But we must believe He will make all things work for our good.
How you see things plays a significant role in how your life will turn out. You choose whether you will identify with life instead of death. You choose to focus on God's blessing or the devil's curse. Choose well, and you will live well. In everything, we are to give thanks. If you decide to seek the good, you will find it. How you judge your life is vital. Do you judge with an eye of mercy and truth, or do you only see the darkness in everything?
God shows us plainly how to live. He said the light was good. He separated the light from the darkness. We must do the same. If we do, our life's perspective will change, and we will see the path of life. God does not ignore or deny the darkness. Instead, He separates the light from the darkness; we must do the same to live an abundant life. Change the way you see, and you will see the way to change.
