Repent of Unbelief
But He answered and said, “Every plant which My heavenly Father has not planted will be uprooted.”
Matthew 15:13 (NKJV)
Jesus told a story about a farmer who planted good seeds in his field. But an enemy came along in the night to sow in that same field weeds. Our heart is like a garden, and our Father is a Master Gardener. He precisely prunes and weeds out everything we have learned that is contrary to His word. Unbelief is a poisonous plant that is bitter to taste and deadly.
Satan plants distrust and lies in our thoughts through people, particularly when we experience dark times. Unbelief thrives best in hard ground. We must not allow our hearts to harden by sin’s clever maneuvering. An unbelieving heart is an evil one. It robs you of peace and the strength that comes from the Lord.
Amid a plague of fear and unbelief, keep your mind stayed on the Lord and trust Him. Forsake every thought you have that is against God’s desire for your wellbeing. Stay aligned with the love of God and His love for you. Keep an eternal viewpoint because the stuff that is happening all around you is only temporary. Repent of unbelief and experience restoration.
