What are You Expecting?

"BEHOLD, I AM LAYING IN ZION A CHOSEN STONE, A PRECIOUS (honored) CORNERSTONE, AND HE WHO BELIEVES IN HIM [whoever adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Him] WILL NEVER BE DISAPPOINTED [in his expectations]. 1 Peter 2:6 (AMP)

Living by faith is an adventure. Not everybody wants to ride the roller coasters of life, but some do. They embrace the high and lows, twists, and turns, assured they will reach their destination. The exhilaration of having an expectant faith shuts your eye to logic as you hold on to dear life. The One you cling to is Life, and His name is Jesus. When you're going down and yet you look up, He is there. You can laugh and trust that better days are ahead.

When your life seems barren, shout for joy! Believe in the unseen and shake up those devils that deceive you into giving up! Jesus said to "doubting Thomas," "How blessed are those who do not see but trust anyway!"

Expectancy is the flame of hope that keeps the fire of faith smoldering when all you can see is ashes. Jesus is the Christ in you, the hope of glory. He is the cornerstone of your faith. Look to Him, rely on him, hold on, and He will not disappoint you. He will bring you to an expected end!
